In this project I was given the task to form a possible scenario based on my knowledge of evolution, where a certain type of monkey would evolve into a flying monkey. This project completely encapsulates the idea of investigating the world, I was able to analyze, integrate, and synthesize evidence to formulate a coherent response to a globally-focused question. I was also able develop a position that considered multiple perspectives, addressed counter arguments, and drew reasonable conclusions.

GPS: 9

LEAD 11-12.PERS3.In the summer of my sophomore year I took Health 1304, the class was very eye opening as learned a great deal about the human body. However one thing that I was not expecting is for the class to make me do is recognize perspectives. One of the final assignments was a celebration of life assignment. I was to create a will, plan my funeral and ceremony, my epitaph, what to do with my body, chose my tombstone and write my eulogy. The project allowed me to ponder the cultural idea of death. I was able recognize, articulate, and apply an understanding of different perspectives as well as my own. I expressed my personal perspective on what is death and what does it mean to me, as well as the situations, events, issues and phenomena that go along with it. I also explain the perspectives of other people and identified possible influences on those perspectives. Lastly I was able to explain how perspectives influence human interactions, affecting their understanding of this particular situation.
